‘Sucks!’ to sick sock scenarios

There is nothing worse, when you’re getting ready for another hard day at the office, than being unable to find a matching pair of socks. This is even true, as the Diary has found to its cost, if you buy nothing but black socks!

It’s amazing to find that, in this post-modern era, even plain old black socks come in so many different patterns and shapes (and shades, after a few hot washes). But don’t worry, for finally there is a solution to this curse – the socscription. Blacksocks.com offers a unique service: for an annual fee, the company will send you new socks either three, four or six times a year; and yes, they’re all black (well, most of them are – the company has recently started selling white socks). The one small problem the Diary can see is that it offers more than one type of black sock. But beggars can’t be choosers, and even a limited selection is better than the plethora of sock designs available (singly, of course) in the Diary’s underwear drawer.
