MEDIA: Motorola sponsors ITV1 films to launch handset
Motorola is to sponsor ITV1’s movie slot in the run-up to Christmas to promote the launch of its T720 handset.
The deal incorporates ITV1’s Friday night movie season; the terrestrial TV premieres of Star Wars – The Phantom Menace and There’s Something About Mary; and a season of late “Motomovies”.
Motorola PCS marketing manager James King says: “In the run-up to Christmas we are able to cut through the advertising noise to promote the Motorola T720’s launch. The handset boasts high-quality colour gaming, including MotoGP.”
The deal was negotiated by Carlton Sales and Sponsorvision on behalf of Motorola.
