Strike a pose, for the winner is…

Hopefully, most of you remember that the Diary, in conjunction with The Daily Telegraph’s Luxe supplement (which appears this weekend), recently launched a competition to find the most glamorous marketer in the country (MW October 17).

Well, the Gucci watch attracted a slew of entrants, and the judge, after sleepless nights and cold sweats, has finally come to a decision.

And, ladies and gentlemen, the winner is a familiar face: step forward Mr Rob Gray, managing partner of Mercier Gray and alumnus of this page (MW October 24). He was the one with the shaven legs, remember?

Apparently, in addition to flashing a bit of thigh to anyone who’ll watch, Rob appears on television and radio, and hangs out with Vinnie Jones and Damon Hill. And he races motorbikes. Not bad, eh? If he keeps this up, he might even get invited to one of the Diary’s parties…
