A slight bone of contention here

Ever felt that you’re being engulfed by a tide of smut? Fun, wasn’t it? In the Diary’s experience, however, it all becomes a bit dispiriting after a while, and prescription charges do mount up.

So it was with no little misgiving that the Diary opened up the latest package to land on its desk to find a press release from a company called Dog & Bone. It’s a mobile phone content company, you see.

Fair enough. Except the company’s mascot is a dog called Boner, which wears a “Boner 69” T-shirt and holds a bone-shaped phone at a suggestive angle.

But! Dog & Bone rescues itself from Robin Askwithdom by giving out condoms to users who take the latest Vodafone campaign too seriously, and the company is raising awareness of sexual health, which can only be a good thing.

And it saved the Diary a couple of quid with those free samples…
