Jazz FM is launching a new logo in April to replace its long running chameleon. The new logo, developed by its creative agency Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw, features the strapline ‘Get it on’ which will be used across all Jazz FM’s future marketing activities for both its stations. The new logo is part of an overhaul of the Jazz FM brand following extensive research into listeners’ views by Jazz FM’s parent company, Guardian Media Group (GMG). Kitcatt Nohr was appointed in January (MW January 23) to manage its £2m advertising account, and Manning Gottlieb OMD was appointed to handle its media planning and buying business last week (MW last week). Jazz FM’s new advertising campaign launches in the spring and will include new forms of media such as cinema advertising.
