Another hairbrained charity scheme

The Diary, as you may know, has a thing for men with shaved legs (MW October 24, 2002), so when news arrived from Tequila/Manchester that creative director Richard Sharp and managing director Matt Bell were putting their femoral fur at the mercy of their employees, the Diary could barely keep still.

It seems the agency took Comic Relief’s “big hair” theme too literally, and designed a series of hair-related fundraising activities for the day.

Employees paid to vote for which one they would prefer to see denuded, and the unlucky winner was forced to submit to a waxing. The Diary hopes the exercise was worth the candle.
