Oyster team take the bull by the wings

When the Diary goes on holiday, it climbs into an aeroplane and is whisked away at hundreds of miles an hour. After all, why reinvent something that’s already been done? The Wright brothers, with a little development work from Boeing, have made a perfectly good job of powered flight.

Staff at Oyster Partners, however, would beg to differ: they have entered the Red Bull Flug Tag competition on August 3. This entails hurling oneself into the Serpentine aboard a home-made flying machine (Oyster’s is called the Masked Matador). To make things worse, pilot Chris Gurney can’t even swim. The Diary suggests that Oyster clients make sure all projects are finished before the end of July…
