The Diary likes…
The Diary likes to see a little enterprise, but MTV took things too literally at recent industry convention The Production Show. MTV representatives took to manoeuvring five kitchen sinks into various positions around the convention, even managing to beam one into the chair of Star Trek’s Captain Kirk. Must be a phaser they’re going through. But why sinks? The idea was taken from MTV Broadcast Services’ strapline: ‘Everything but the kitchen sink’, and the company seems quite proud of its mischief-making. With this in mind, The Diary expects to see the swirl of sinks (well do you know what the collective noun for sinks is?) starring in their own reality show in the near future. With a little draining, they’ll be more animated than Ozzy Osbourne, less irritating than his horrible son Jack and easier on the ears than Kelly. They can’t fail.
