Giant advertising video screen to launch in Europe

Giant banner company Mega Profile International and Metro International, publisher of the Metro free newspaper brand on the Continent, have developed a giant advertising video screen to launch in Europe. The companies have teamed up with Spanish outdoor contractor Soportes to site the first monster screen, called Mega TV, in Barcelona. The screen is 22 feet high by 17 feet wide and the technology has been developed by Lumacom. Metro International, which has a free paper in the city, will provide local content for the screen, while the flexibility of broadcasting in real time will allow advertisers to alter ads instantly. Local space for the screen will be sold by Metro and Soportes sales teams in Barcelona, while MPI will handle international advertisers through its London base.
