No need to get so fired up about it

The Diary hears that staff at 141 have been going to extraordinary lengths to familiarise themselves with the work of potential clients. Last Tuesday night, the agency team working on a pitch for the Fire Service account got rather too close for comfort, however, when the building next-door to their West London office caught fire as they worked on their presentation.

The team were evacuated from the building (and denied access to their cars) as the fire brigade tackled the blaze.

The Diary understands that the team intend to rescue a cat in the very near future, but – as 141 is part of Cordiant – it doesn’t hold out much hope for their demand for a 40 per cent pay rise…
