The line between comedy and marketing is a fine one indeed, a fact that the hierarchy at EHS Brann seems to be all too aware of, as the company recently sent ten of its staff on an eight-week stand-up comedy course.
One man had to go a step further into tragedy though, as creative director Brian Storey forced his colleagues to endure his “sensitive rendition” of Angels by Robbie Williams. In true Stars in Their Eyes fashion, Storey did the full transformation, complete with fake henna tattoo.
Apparently the experience has gone to Brian’s head, and he is now intending to audition for Pop Idol. From what his colleagues have told the Diary, he’d have more success sending a videotape of the performance to You’ve Been Framed.
