GLA launches £1.5m campaign to promote recycling

The Greater London Authority (GLA) is launching a £1.5m campaign to promote recycling across the capital, with the aim of raising awareness of the variety of items that can now be recycled.

The Greater London Authority (GLA) is launching a &£1.5m campaign to promote recycling across the capital, with the aim of raising awareness of the variety of items that can now be recycled. This is highlighted through a series of prints showing unwanted items, such as a pair of jeans with an image of Eighties pop idols Bros. Other images used include a pizza takeaway menu and a clichéd greeting card. Each ad carries the tagline ‘Everything deserves a second chance’. The ad is created by Soul and media is bought by Pawson Media, which was one of three media buying agencies appointed to GLA’s media roster earlier this year, alongside MediaCom and PHD Compass (MW August 21). The ads break later this week.
