Ogo launches oxygen-enriched atomiseur in brand revamp

Ogo, the oxygenated products brand, is to extend its range with the launch of an oxygen-enriched atomiseur next year.

The Ogo brand, owned by Belguim’s O-Company, is also launching a carbonated oxygenated water product to stand alongside its still water product.

O-Company introduced Ogo water in the UK last July and the product is sold in Boots, Harrods and other retailers with an upmarket profile (MW 16 May, 2002). The company launched Ogo oxygen cylinders in April 2001.

The atomiseur facial spray will be available as a 75ml canister and is set to retail at &£3.95. The spray is meant to nourish and restore skin condition and packaging was designed by Paris-based designer Ora Ito.

Marketing is overseen by marketing director Richard Pechey. The company worked with Spirit Advertising to develop the brand for in its initial phase, but Pechey is now exploring other options.

The carbonated oxygenated water will be packaged in a red version of the distinctive blue spherical Ogo bottle. O-Company will also increase the size of the water product’s packaging, which is available in 330ml, to offer 660ml and 2.5-litre bottles.

Oxygenated water contains 35 times the normal amount of oxygen in water and is claimed to enhance vitality and concentration.
