Spirit Integrated Communications has created its first campaign for spread betting company Cantor Index following its secret appointment earlier this year. Spirit was appointed in June to oversee the &£3m launch of Cantor’s mobile trading and news service, Cantor Mobile. Previous advertising for Cantor, which is part of US brokers Cantor Fitzgerald, was handled by AMD Girardot. The mobile service enables customers to gamble on sports events, buy and sell on the stock market and gather news and data from Dow Jones and TV station CNBC. The launch will be supported by a four-week TV campaign on Bloomberg and CNBC as well as press, outdoor, online and direct mail. Media buying is handled by Ptarmigan Media. Cantor Mobile will be launched in association with O2, which provides the phone and personal digital assistant (PDA) device known as Xda.
