Britvic Soft Drinks’ fruit juice brand J2O is to be the first sponsor of The Frank Skinner Show in a &£1.5m deal. Comedian Frank Skinner’s chat and music show airs on Monday nights on ITV1 and the new 12-week series will run from September 29 to December 22. The deal was negotiated and developed by Broadmind, the specialist sponsorship division of MindShare. J2O is positioned as an adult juice drink that can be consumed in social situations, such as bars and parties. It was originally launched in the on-trade sector and introduced to the off-trade in March last year (MW March 14, 2002), supported by an advertising campaign devised by Barrett Cernis.
