Merged ITV Sales names cinema chief

Carlton Screen Advertising (CSA) chief executive Deborah Chalet has been appointed as cinema director-designate for ITV Sales, the merged sales operation of Carlton and Granada.

He replaces Sandra Dickinson, who left for personal reasons in September.

Granada chairman Charles Allen is expected to set out the strategy for the future of ITV today (Wednesday). He will become chief executive of ITV plc when the &£4.7bn merger is completed. He is also expected to report a rise in earnings at Granada as part of the company’s full-year results.
