New Group Newspapers promotes David Roddick

News Group Newspapers, publisher of The Sun and News of the World, has promoted David Roddick to the newly created position of digital sales director. He was previously head of strategic sales and new media.

Interpublic sells four racetracks

Interpublic has sold the four racetracks that formerly comprised its loss-making Octagon Motorsports division to MotorSport Vision, in a deal thought to be worth up to £70m. Interpublic blamed the tracks – Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Cadwell Park and Snetterton – for recent financial difficulties.
