Walkers wins ‘Best of the Best’ award

Walkers won the ‘Best of the Best’ award at the recent MCCA Best Awards. So it’s nice to see the company making sure someone else gets a turn at the prize next year. Walkers has been spending its time trawling the country’s phone books for people whose surnames are Cheese or Onion. It has invited them all to a party in Leicester, presumably in the hope that at least some of the poor sods will pair up, leaving the way open for a convention of Cheese-Onion children somewhere down the line. ‘Former snooker ace Willie Thorne will be joining in the celebrations’ too, perhaps as a living illustration of a peeled crisp-precursor. So if your name is ‘PRstuntthought’ or ‘upafterfivepintsatlunchtime’, then drop the Diary a line.
