Kitcatt Nohr beats two to £3m Virgin Holidays

Virgin Holidays is set to appoint integrated agency Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw to handle all its &£3m above and below-the-line business after a pitch involving two other unnamed agencies.

Virgin Holidays sales and marketing director Kathryn Beadle says: “We felt the time was right to consolidate strategy and creative in one agency.”

The company has been working with Claydon Heeley Jones Mason. Virgin Holidays’ most recent campaign, featuring 48-sheet posters, which highlighted the “liberation” of booking through Virgin Holidays, was created by the agency in February.

Claydon Heeley was also responsible for an internet campaign last December which saw more than 100,000 Virgin Holidays and Virgin.com customers receiving e-mails that included a viral computer game.

Kitcatt Nohr’s brief is to increase sales, support the Frequent Virgin Club loyalty programme, advise on database marketing and help set up and manage partnership deals with tourist boards, attractions and hotels.

Kitcatt Nohr is an integrated creative agency and was launched in January 2002 with backing from Mentor Marketing & Investments. Its client base includes Friends Reunited, Jazz FM and The National Blood Service.
