Thresher Group is launching a customer magazine, Flavour. The title is to be produced in house at the drinks retailer. The in-store lifestyle magazine will be distributed in 750 stores and also delivered to 100,000 homes in the vicinity of its 11 ‘thresher+food’ convenience stores. Flavour will be a quarterly, A5 glossy magazine, offering full product listings alongside features such as summer barbecue food and drink recipes, as well as a guide to Britain’s best beaches. The magazine will form part of the retailer’s new marketing strategy, which has seen it move from selling only wines and spirits to including the convenience market with a focus on drink and food.
