The Hallmark Channel…

The Hallmark Channel is to launch an advertising campaign to push its double bill of police dramas Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The campaign includes a television ad which features an unidentified man returning home to his apartment block, locking himself in his room and settling himself down to watch the two new series, but the ambiguous atmosphere leaves the viewer unclear as to whether he is a cop, a fan of the series or a criminal. The ad breaks on August 28 and will appear on Sky One, Sky Movies, UK Gold, Discovery, ITV2 and GMTV. Skin has developed the campaign, which also includes print advertising. Iris has also devised some below-the-line activity and BLM Media is handling media planning and buying. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, series five, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, series two, are to be shown back-to-back on weekday nights at 9pm from September 1.
