Clemmow Hornby Inge…

Clemmow Hornby Inge has created a television campaign for online travel agent Expedia.co.uk. The campaign, which breaks next week (September 14), addresses customers’ concerns about the cost of booking holidays through the internet. It shows customised and expensive objects of desire, such as cars and swimming pools, but says a holiday with elements booked on the internet is as cheap as an all-inclusive package holiday. The strapline from previous campaigns, ‘Create your perfect trip’, will continue to be used. The 30-second executions will be supported by press, radio and online activity. PHD is handling offline media planning and buying, while online activity has been devised by Arnold Interactive and planned and bought by Media Contacts. This is the first campaign overseen by recently appointed marketing director Elyas Chowdhury (MW July 15).
