Consumer’s association calls for OFT to investigate iTunes

The Consumers’ Association has asked the Office of Fair Trading to investigate the prices charged for music downloads by Apple’s iTunes service. Consumers in France and Germany pay 20 per cent less than those in the UK.

The Advertising Standards Authority has censured a Nottingham City Council ad aimed at discouraging people from giving money to beggars. The ad, created by SAM Design Consultant, claims that ’90 per cent of the money given to beggars goes straight to drug dealers.’
