Transport for London…

Transport for London (TfL) is launching a television and cinema advertising campaign aimed at encouraging more car drivers to take the bus for off-peak and leisure journeys. The 30- and 40-second ads for the ‘My other car is a bus’ campaign show a series of stressful traffic scenarios for car drivers in the capital. Each incident is illustrated with a car sticker summing up the driver’s frustrations before the ad ends with the family leaving the car at home in favour of the bus. The &£2m campaign is devised by M&C Saatchi and breaks on October 14. It will also include radio, outdoor and press activity. TfL will use its own advertising estate, including bus-sides and shelters. Media planning and buying is through PHD.
