Virgin Radio

Virgin Radio, the Scottish Media Group-owned station, is launching its first television campaign to support The Pete & Geoff Breakfast Show. The animated campaign, which has been created by Hooper Galton and Studio AKA, includes two executions that feature the presenting duo as two eggs in a miniature studio inside a chicken. The ads aim to appeal to a broad audience in a bid to raise the profile of both the breakfast show and the Virgin Radio brand. It uses a soundtrack of core Virgin artists, such as Keane, Maroon 5 and U2. The campaign breaks in cinemas from October 15 and on TV from the end of the month. Virgin Radio marketing director David Andrews says: ‘We believe this campaign will take Pete and Geoff into the hearts and minds of the British public.’ Media is handled by Starcom Motive.
