Sainsburys to make marketing department cuts

Sainsbury’s is to cut about a quarter of its 300-strong marketing department as part of a revival strategy aimed at boosting sales by &£2.5bn over three years. Chief executive Justin King is cutting 750 head-office jobs to make way for 3,000 new shopfloor staff.
