It is understood that it also considering using its brand as a form of quality standard for organic consumers.

It has also been involved with fundraising projects such as the OMSCO Sports Relief Trikeathon, and it also has a partnership with the Eden Project.

The co-operative was formed in 1994 and is the largest organic dairy co-operative in the UK, with over 300 members. It supplies half of all organic milk to a range of processors; it does not sell its milk directly to consumers.
