Transport for London…

Transport for London is launching a television campaign to promote safer travel at night for women. The campaign has been created to warn women against using unlicensed minicabs in central London and making themselves vulnerable to sexual assault. The advertising, created by TBWA/London, will particularly stress the message that people should not let their friends take an unlicensed cab. The campaign breaks next Tuesday (November 22) and shows a group of women out on the town, who are approached by an unlicensed cab driver. The strapline reads ‘If you let a friend take an illegal minicab you could be helping a rapist’. The ad also provides information about safer travel options. The campaign also takes in press, outdoor and London Underground activity. PHD is handling media planning and buying.
