rolls out first advert to gay sector

Rank-owned bingo and gaming website is hoping to attract the pink pound by taking out its first advertisement aimed at the gay sector. The company has bought a full page in this year’s guide to Pride London with the strapline ‘Coming out to play?’, listing the games available at its website. The one-off ad was designed in house and the company paid &£10,000 for the page. The free 144-page guide to this year’s Pride London festival will have a print-run of 100,000 and comes out on May 27. Pride chief executive Jason Pollock says the event now attracts mainstream sponsors, including Ford and Virgin Mobile, which are supporting this year’s festival.
