Ulster TV acquires Wireless Group

Ulster TV is to acquire radio company Wireless Group for £98.2m in cash.

Ulster TV is to acquire radio company Wireless Group for &£98.2m in cash. The group, which is headed by Kelvin MacKenzie, includes national commercial speech station TalkSport. The takeover follows a failed management buy-out by MacKenzie, and he is now likely to leave the company.
