Fox Kalomaski bags deal to promote shopping centres

Marketing agency Fox Kalomaski has won a two-year contract to promote four Grosvenor Shopping Centre Fund-owned malls in Glasgow, Poole, Burton-upon-Trent and Grimsby.

The deal will see the retail, travel and leisure marketing specialists developing what is believed to be the UK’s first centrally co-ordinated marketing campaign for the shopping centres, which are home to 330 retail outlets.

Fox Kalomaski, which offers advertising, direct and digital marketing, says it will provide a full range of through-the-line activities.

The shopping malls are The Forge in Glasgow, The Dolphin in Poole, Burton’s Coopers Square and Freshney Place in Grimsby.

The deal comes as gloom increases in the retail sector and new figures from the British Retail Consortium show that same-store sales fell 2.4 per cent in May, compared with the same month last year, although total sales were up 1.4 per cent.
