Is the Don of PI Global losing his powers?

I have been very impressed with the growing creativity in new forms of marketing, the biggest trend over the past few years being that of e-mail campaigns being done with great humour…

That was until I came across the letters from Don Williams of PI Global, who uses the Marketing Week letters page to promote his company with his views on brand position, from BMW on June 2 to Stella Artois on June 9. I’m hoping next week will be all about a small puppy as I find the need for his product right now – the only problem is that the views have all been expressed and only come across as “giz a job”.

Are things really this bad for the big boys?
