British Gas in restructure

British Gas is understood to be restructuring its business into two separate divisions, the residential energy division and the home services division. British Gas managing director Mark Clare will work just on the residential energy business and Chris Weston, who was head of business customers, will run the home services arm.

BT makes agreement with rivals

BT has agreed to offer rival operators equal access to its network and cut wholesale prices following Ofcom’s review of the telecoms industry.
