Ian Hills, a former marketer who may have dabbled in promoting unhealthy foods, has seen the light – and published a novel, The Toxic Toadburger Conspiracy. It’s aimed at children put off by “the finger-wagging media hype of a nanny state gone mad”, and uses humour to educate children about obesity and the addictive nature of fast food.

Let’s hope Hills doesn’t do for toadburgers what Jamie Oliver did for the Turkey Twizzler.
