DMA West chairman cleared of deception charges

Direct Marketing Association West chairman Ian Hughes has been cleared of obtaining a money transfer by deception, following a trial at Bristol Crown Court. The judge ordered the jury to return a ‘not guilty’ verdict, concluding that Hughes had no case to answer.
