Johnson & Johnson UK has promoted Neil Dickenson to the position of marketing director.

Johnson & Johnson UK has promoted Neil Dickenson to the position of marketing director.

Dickenson will be responsible for the marketing of all Johnson & Johnson consumer products in the UK and will report to managing director Vince Pender. He has been promoted from the position of European customer development director and replaces André Baradat, who has moved to take another position with the company in France.

Johnson & Johnson includes more than 200 operating companies that manufacture and market thousands of branded healthcare products across many categories. Johnson & Johnson brands include Band Aid, Johnson’s Baby, Neutrogena and over-the counter medicine Imodium.

Last month, Johnson & Johnson announced that it had become an official partner of the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the official healthcare products sponsor of the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games, and the official healthcare products partner of the United States Olympic Committee. Johnson & Johnson subsidiaries will also become the official healthcare products partner of the national Olympic teams of more than 20 additional countries around the world.

Recent press reports have also linked Johnson & Johnson to developing a feature film in Italy, as a way of promoting some of its brands.
