Learndirect Scotland launches £2m pitches

Learndirect Scotland, the governnment-funded adult learning initiative, has put its creative advertising, direct marketing and media planning and buying accounts, estimated to be worth &£2m, out to pitch.

The tender is for the Learndirect Scotland and Learndirect Scotland for Business brands, run by the Scottish University for Industry (SUfI). It also covers the marketing planning and implementation for Individual Learning Account Scotland, run by SUfI on behalf of the Scottish Executive.

The organisation works as a public-private partnership to promote workforce development and lifelong learning. It is aimed at anyone over the age of 16 and provides mainly online courses on literacy and numeracy, as well as business and management skills.

A shortlist will be announced next month, with a decision expected early next year.
