A digital way to feed your pet’s desires
When does a revolution stop being a revolution and just become a way of life? The Diary reckons it’s when the revolution means you can feed your pets while you’re on holiday.
PetPod pet feeders are surely a sign that the digital revolution has been won. Not only can commuters listen to a selection of 20,000 songs on their way to work, they can do it safe in the knowledge that Tiddles will get her Whiskas dead on the dot of 12.
Creative design agency Clock Creative Communications has created a hi-tech image for the digital pet feeder, made by Reilor, to suit what is being called “the next generation of automatic pet feeding”. The previous generation being ask-a-neighbour-if-they-can-pop-in-when-they’ve-got-the-time.
Its advertising claims the PetPod “will care for your pet just as you would” – great news if it means saving the Diary the job of rubbing Fido’s nose in his own filth for fouling the kitchen lino.
