Jeyes unveils range of outdoor cleaning products

Jeyes, the hygiene and household cleaning goods specialist, is to launch a new range of products designed for outdoor cleaning.

The range, which the company hopes to launch early next year, is based around its original Jeyes Fluid disinfectant and comprises four new products.

Jeyes Fluid All Purpose Outdoor Cleaner is a trigger spray version of the disinfectant with a lemon scent designed to tackle outdoor grime on garden furniture.

Jeyes Fluid Easi-Hose is a plastic canister of the fluid that attaches to a hose. It allows the concentrated fluid to mix with a high-pressure water stream to blast off algae on patios and decking.

Jeyes Easibrush has been designed to clean barbecue equipment using a gel variant of the product, while Jeyes Fluid Freshbin is a lemon-scented powder designed to neutralise odours from rubbish bins

Jeyes brand development manager Louise Pearson says that the products have been developed to target a new group of consumers its research has identified as “outdoor maintainers”. This group, she says, spend a lot of time entertaining outside and treat their gardens as an extension of their homes.

“We wanted to produce a range of products to take ownership of the outdoor segment which no one else has really done yet,” she adds.

In addition to Jeyes Fluid, Jeyes produces toilet cleaning products Bloo and Parazone.
