Harveys plans TV drive ahead of store revamp

Furniture retailer Harveys is launching a television campaign as it unveils a revamp of its 169 UK stores.

The ads have been created by Proximity London, which picked up the business after Abbott Mead Vickers.BBDO folded sister agency Minerva earlier this year.

The TV spots, which will run from tomorrow (Thursday) until Monday, will promote a half-price sale at the retailer, with an extra ten per cent discounted in stores.

The campaign will appear across terrestrial and Sky channels. Proximity has also produced 10 million leaflets, as well as door-drops and local press inserts.

Harveys has restyled its stores to give customers a more “inspirational shopping experience”.

Harveys managing director Neil Allan says: “We want people to get the image they require at a price that surprises them. The best way to sell a brand is to get it right in store.”
