Yahoo! is spending $500m (£288m)to take full control of its operations in South Korea, France, Germany and the UK.

Yahoo! is spending $500m (&£288m)to take full control of its operations in South Korea, France, Germany and the UK. Japanese media investment company Softbank currently owns one-third of Yahoo!’s operations in these countries. In the US, Yahoo! has also announced a collaboration with digital video recorder company TiVo which means TiVo subscribers will be able to programme their recorders remotely via Yahoo!’s television information sites.
