IPC creates luxury brands sales team

IPC Media has created a new advertising sales team for its Southbank women’s division, publisher of Marie Claire, InStyle and Woman & Home, that will specifically target premium brands.

The new sales team will be headed by Jamie Wilson, currently Southbank International sales director. He will take on the role early next year and will report to Southbank group advertising director Mark Reen.

The appointment follows last month’s restructuring of Southbank’s advertising operations, which created centralised teams alongside existing brand-specific teams to serve the needs of both agencies and individual clients. The publishing director of the division, Sandy Whetton, left the company at the same time and has been replaced by Jackie Newcombe.

“This new structure provides luxury brands with a single point of entry into the Southbank portfolio of magazines, both nationally and internationally,” says Reen.
