New Campaign – Motorola

Motorola is running an outdoor campaign to promote the SLVR, its new slim-line mobile phone that features Bluetooth, a digital camera and video applications, and an MP3 player.

The activity features “Super 3-D” lenticular technology on 100 JC Decaux six-sheet sites in three locations – London, Birmingham and Manchester.

Some of the sites will animate and “spin” the phone. The posters feature a woman holding an SLVR lengthways to emphasise its slender dimensions.

The work has been produced by JC Decaux Innovate and Pollen London. The creative work was handled by Ogilvy & Mather, and it was booked by MindShare, through outdoor specialist Kinetic.

James King, marketing manager for Motorola in the UK, says/ “This is a daring, fun concept designed to capture attention. It was important that the outdoor execution helped make the campaign larger than life.”
