New Campaign – Scottish Executive

The Scottish Executive is running an outdoor campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of passive smoking and highlight the smoking ban that begins in Scotland on March 26.

Lenticular posters on Adshel bus shelters will show before and after images of a woman non-smoker, illustrating the cancer-inducing risks of passive smoking.

Creative is by The Leith Agency, with media through MediaCom in Scotland and Manchester-based Posterscope In the North.

Clear Channel UK group sales director Rob Atkinson says: “Bus shelters are ideal for talking directly to the public about health.”

Meanwhile, 195 local radio stations in England are teaming up with the Department of Health to encourage smokers to kick the habit. The Big Quit is being handled by PHD Media and its specialist content division, Drum.
