Finding a line always did get right up my nose

The Diary never makes cheap gags about the ad industry and its relationship with white lines.

But it certainly sniffed a story when it came across a website in the US which blatantly links the two.

The Parking Stripe team have come up with yet another seemingly obscure place to advertise⦠on the floor in car parks.

Before you turn your nose up at the idea, let the Diary explain.

By replacing the white lines dividing parking spaces with strips of advertising, they believe they have discovered a new advertising medium

The man behind the idea is Greg Gorman, a former marketer at Anheuser-Busch, and there are more details at www.parkingstripe.com.
