Isobel management takes armful approach to demonstrate loyalty

There are many ways to show your boss that you are a loyal and dedicated employee who is totally committed to the cause, and may possibly deserve a pay rise or a promotion.

There are many ways to show your boss that you are a loyal and dedicated employee who is totally committed to the cause, and may possibly deserve a pay rise or a promotion.

For a start you can turn up early for work and leave late. You can produce stellar work and even bake cakes for your boss – not that these have ever worked for the Diary.

Or, like Pete Bardell, account manager at Isobel, you can have a few beers on a night out, stumble into a tattoo parlour and get the company logo etched onto your arm for all eternity.

Pete now proudly sports the Isobel badge above a rather sinister looking skull on his right arm.

It’s not the first time one of Pete’s nights out has ended in a noteworthy fashion. He achieved a degree of notoriety, and tabloid infamy, after a late night dance off with Big Brother’s Nadia landed him on the cover of Heat magazine.

It may not be the first time that Pete has had a few ales and awoken with a new woman on his arm – but it does raise the question of how he explains the tattoo to any ladies who may be lucky enough to see it in the future.

Secondly, it puts him in a spot work-wise. A gleeful Isobel spokesperson comments: “We are glad that he will be staying with the company for many more years to come, he is our branded property now.”

Still at least he doesn’t work for Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R or he’d still be in the parlour.
