Grass has previously worked at The Walt Disney Company, where she had held the post of interim marketing director at Buena Vista International Television.

At ER, she replaces former marketing chief Anya Hollis who has been promoted to director of global development at the company.

While working at Buena Vista International Television, Grass was responsible for the marketing campaigns behind hit television shows including Desperate Housewives and Lost.

She has also held positions at Channel Five Broadcasting, HHCL & Partners (the agency now known as United) and Lowe.

At Channel Five Broadcasting, Grass worked on the repositioning and rebranding of the terrestrial channel as Five.

ER, which also owns the Basil Brush franchise, is involved in the bidding for a takeover of Chorion, the company that owns the rights to children’s characters Noddy and the Mr Men.

ER has been given the deadline of noon tomorrow (Thursday) to announce its proposed offer or declare it is no longer interested in making an approach. Rival Hit Entertainment has already dropped out of the bidding.
