Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSHCC) is seeking its first dedicated marketing director as part of a move to ramp up its marketing activities and fundraising initiatives.
The charity’s new chief executive Charles Denton is understood to be looking for a candidate with a traditional marketing background to help put marketing at the heart of its fundraising and licensing strategies.
Once appointed, the marketing director will be tasked with reviewing all marketing initiatives, exploring further opportunities for third-party licensing and developing the GOSHCC brand.
The position will report directly to Denton.
It is not known whether the appointment of a marketing director will affect the charity’s agency arran- gements.
Arc Integrated Marketing and WWAV Rapp Collins London currently work with the charity and earlier this month the children’s charity appointed branding agency Enterprise IG to develop a name and visual identity for a donors club.
