The Carbon Trust, the not-for profit government-funded body, has appointed Shaun Bell as head of marketing.
Bell joins from Camelot where he was relationship marketing manager, and will report to Carbon Trust director of marketing and communications Peter Hambly.
The trust has also appointed Vanessa Gibbin, who joins as senior campaign manager, as it seeks to beef up its marketing team.
The trust says the appointments demonstrate “the importance the Carbon Trust sees in its growing role raising business awareness and promoting action on climate change, and the need to accelerate this activity in the immediate future.”
Next week The Carbon Trust will launch a &£4m through-the-line campaign promoting carbon and energy reduction.
