New campaign – LG Mobile

JC Decaux has launched what it claims is the first moving 3D creative for an outdoor campaign, as part of LG Mobile’s marketing push for its new Chocolate phone.

The outdoor advertising group worked with LG and media agency Starcom UK to develop the 1.2m-high 3D phone with a moving face that slides up and down on a 20-second repeated cycle.

The face moves to reveal an illuminated keypad while playing a demo on the screen. The posters are designed to highlight the phone’s movement and its touch-sensitive navigation keys.

The moving 3D phone will be launched on six 48-sheets while static creatives will also run on six-sheet posters around the UK.
